Mailbox Kid Return & Subscription Policy
At Mailbox Kid, we want every box to feel special from the moment it lands in your mailbox.
Because our kits are hands-on, paper-based experiences made for kids and families, we’ve created a return policy that is simple, fair, and easy to understand.
First Box Happiness Guarantee
Trying Mailbox Kid for the first time? We want you to feel confident.
If your first box isn’t a good fit, contact us within 7 days of delivery and we’ll make it right or refund your first order.
This guarantee applies to first-time customers only.
Subscription Renewals
Mailbox Kid subscriptions renew automatically based on the plan you choose at checkout.
You can cancel, pause, or skip anytime before your next billing date.
Once a renewal has been processed, we’re unable to refund that billing cycle because we begin preparing your child’s next Mailbox Kid experience right away.
Returns
Unopened Mailbox Kid boxes may be returned within 14 days of delivery.
To be eligible for a return:

The box must be unopened

The box must be unused

The return must be requested within 14 days of delivery
Customers are responsible for return shipping.
Once we receive and inspect the unopened box, we’ll issue a refund to the original payment method.
Opened boxes are not eligible for return.
Damaged or Missing Items
If your box arrives damaged or something is missing, please contact us right away.
We’ll replace the damaged or missing item as quickly as possible.
Canceling, Pausing, or Skipping
Need a break? No problem.
You can cancel, pause, or skip your subscription before your next billing date.
This is perfect if you’re traveling, busy, or just want to save your next Mailbox Kid moment for later.
